Without a doubt, Hippo Bakery is the best bakery in Kanazawa, and it’s not even close! Every single item we tried was out of this world—perfectly crafted with incredible flavor. The mentaiko bread is a must-have, and I can’t recommend it enough—it’s an absolute game-changer! Their sandwiches are a delightful treat, and the sausage rolls are ridiculously good—probably some of the best I’ve ever had.

I found the flavor that’s perfect for me in these products! It’s hard to describe, but I feel like the taste of their breads is special and unique compared to other shops.
