Food was fresh, delicious and service was quick. We initially wanted to go to a different restaurant. However there was a long line for that (even though we could see empty tables in there). I arrived in Kanazawa in the late afternoon and was eager to try the local chirashi. While checking the map, I found a nearby fresh market with a restaurant simply called "Canteen" that opens in the evening.
