I stayed in this hotel for four nights and I have very few grievances. The location is perfect. A twenty minute walk from Kanazawa station, only a few minutes walk to Kanazawa castle, and Omichō market is just across the road, meaning you have access to great tasting fresh fish for lunch every day should you want it. And if it gets too late and you need a quick bite to eat there's a 24/7 seven eleven, just up the road.
As for the hotel itself - It was very clean. The bed sheets were changed every day, fresh towels and pyjamas were also provided each day and the capsule beds themselves were quite comfortable. The toilets were also kept clean and the showers were great, with more than enough to accommodate the amount of guests staying at the hotel. The staff were very helpful and spoke enough english to help with anything needed when I couldn't think of the correct japanese for it.
The only two slightly annoying things were that the hotel closed from 10am until 2pm and that you had to hand in your hotel key to the reception in exchange for the shoe locker key any time you wanted to leave the hotel. I do however completely understand that the only way to clean as thouroughly as they do is to close for a few hours and handing in your key obviously minimizes the risk of it being lost out in the city. So these aren't things I think they will or should change but are just things to bear in mind when you book this hotel.
Overall, I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Kanazawa on a budget. It was clean, in a great location and had very helpful staff. I would happily stay here again if I happen to find myself in Kanazawa...

Amenities like washer/dryer, lockers, paper cups, body wash/shampoo etc. were readily available. Capsule was roomy for an average sized person, but may feel cramped for those taller (6 foot plus). Noise was minimal, so a good rest is possible. Toilets were very clean with bathroom slippers supplied.. 😢: The capsule mattress was thin and quite uncomfortable. If you're on the 5th floor (men's room), you have to go up to the 6th floor to access the lockers, showers and laundry. Only two toilets, not including urinals, are available for men, one on the 5th floor and the other on the 6th floor. On my usage, the auto-injected laundry liquid was empty because my clothes appeared only to be washed with...
Read moreIt’s easy to find. From Kanazawa Station hop on a bus at Bay 10 the alight at the 2nd stop at Ohmicho Market then cross the street, walk for a minute or two. There’s a nearby Starbucks, Lawson and 7/11. About 12 minutes walk to Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden. Rooms are clean and I like it that they offer free skincare at the restrooms. I mean ladies are vain, it’s a good thing they pay attention to that. The staff are nice. It’s a capsule accommodation. They keep everything clean. So you don’t have to worry after an exhausting day, you’ll be welcome by a clean bed. A good tip, get the Kanazawa Loop Bus for only 800yen. You can hop the bus to go around Kanazawa Tourist. A value for money since the fare is about 210 yen just 1 way. The IC card don’t work on buses in Kanazawa. Either you pay in cash or...
