Without the quality service and kindness of the owner, I would say this place is a 4 stars out of 5. And you'll pay maybe 1200 yen for a meal and coffee, which... Well, back in Canada, unless you're willing to pay 20 CAD $ and a kidney or two, that ain't happenin', sweet little dude/mademoiselle. Why am I writing so poorly, all of a sudden?
But quite frankly, even if the egg and bacon toast, mesmerizing starlet of this show, if you ask me, proudly preceeded by an ocean of salad (well, a pond, but unforgettable, with nenuphars, and eerie but warm sunlight as the sun sets) and the coffee served in a refined porcelain set (my lips were strategically meditating on the best way to attack their drink, finally to pound on this wild cafein, their prey), yes, if the egg and bacon toast was not part of this adventure time for my mouth to feel like it's travelling somewhere special, I'd still go back there for a coffee or two, reading a book, chatting with a girly friend, sharing a few words with the owner, etc.
The owner: a perfect gentleman who knows how to welcome his customers: godlike style! His only flaw: already married to a voluptuous Japanese waifu, so gaijin ladies, keep your hands to yourselves, onegaishimasu!
A good moment spent there. Good vibes involved. Welcoming warm place. It's located at the second floor of the building. I don't remember seeing a sign with the name of the café near the entrance, but hey, I might just have gaijin mud in my most charming pers eyes.
Now, you know everything about me: I am grateful for meeting wonderful human beings, I like places with a good vibe and, of course, well, I got eyes....

We went here as a group of 4. We were seated almost immediately. The extremely lovely owner informed us there would be a small wait for food and drinks as he was working solo. Despite this, our order was ready quickly. The food and drink was delicious and the owner made extra efforts to talk to us and show us the different teas used in the cafe, allowing us to smell their different aromas. He gave us additional complementary sweet biscuits at the end of our meal which was very kind of him. The crepes were a perfect consistency and the flavours of everything we ordered were so delicious.
The cafe is on the second floor (as shown on the sign out front) up some narrow steep stairs. It has a small cozy interior with seating for 8 or so people.
I highly recommend you drop into Kissa Glider if you are...
Read moreA small cozy cafe, very nice food and coffee, can tell the owner prepares the food, coffee, dining wares, all small decoration with hearts and thoughts! For the food, the crepes wrap with bacon cheese and egg is so good, the thickness of the crepes is adjusted so well that it matches with the bacon, cheese and melting egg, every bite of the 4 ingredients together are well balanced. The coffee is excellent, seems light but with good depth and layers of taste! Don’t forget to check out the small crafts that the owner said it’s hand made by her wife. It takes some time for the owner to prepare the food and coffee all by himself but it surely worth to wait if you are looking for this...
