This was my favorite hotel during my 17-day trip to Japan during May 2025. Everything about this hotel was wonderful, including the smooth check-in (they let me check-in early, and the concierge was so nice to help me with my bags to my room...he wouldn't take a tip), great room with a view of Kanazawa and the mountains in the distance, friendly cleaning staff, courteous dining room staff, convenient location across the street from Kanazawa Station (including an underground route to the hotel, too), quietness of my room, and the comfy bed. I felt very safe staying at this hotel and walking outside at night by myself. I liked that they provided abundant towels, which came in handy when I handwashed several clothes in the bathtub and needed to wrap them in towels to remove some moisture before hanging them up to dry in the roomy closet. My room had a mini-fridge, which I stocked with breakfast items from the grocery store across the street in Kanazawa Station. I also liked the pajamas they provided, which were great loungewear while hanging out in my room. The bathroom was well stocked with toiletries, although I used my own products for my sensitive skin. I loved the bathroom layout! It had a separate room for the shower beside the bathtub, a separate little room for the toilet (with all the gizmos Japan is known for), and the sink/vanity area with ample storage underneath. I would stay at this hotel again if I'm ever lucky enough to travel back...
Read moreAbsolutely loved this hotel. I asked for a room on a higher floor when I booked to make it extra special as I was celebrating my birthday. The hotel accommodated my request and I was on the 21st floor. The view from my room was amazing. I managed to see a thunderstorm unfold, catching lightening strikes which lit up the sky. I spent a lot of time in my room purely to appreciate the view!!
The room was spacious. The breakfast was delicious. The food was so nice that I had evening meals there also. The train station was literally across the road. There was a mall within 8 minutes walk. Busses, taxis, trains, etc all modes of transport were easily accessible. There were a few 30th and 29th floor lounges/bars/restaurants where I went to check out the views to the other side. The staff weren't funny with me and were very accommodating, allow me to look, sit, take photos. The cleaners were great and accommodated my timings. One morning I wanted to rest for longer so I put my DND on. They left a note saying they'd been. Later after I left, they came back and cleaned my room without my asking them to. They did a great job. I loved everything about this hotel and if I ever return I would most definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful service and I would definitely recommend this hotel to...
Read moreThis was by far the greatest experience I had in Japan by far. I paid for this room months in advance and had forgotten what I paid for by the time we showed up. We paid $138 for a queen sized bed on the 26th floor. We showed up, and the hotel from the beginning looked way out of our price range, super fancy. We were escorted 20 feet to the front desk. Check-in was easy, and there was a ¥400 city tax. We were then escorted to the elevators, and the hostest graciously bowed until the doors closed. We seriously asked ourselves what we had just gotten into and had to check again what we paid for. The room had l'occitane products (my wife's favorite), a Bluetooth mirror, and a tub big enough for a 6ft 2 man. We ended our night on the 30th at their sky rise bar with 2 free drink tickets that came with the room. We stepped out the elevator, not expecting to be blown away again, but man, were we wrong. We found out this building is the tallest building in Kanazawa, and the view from the bar was breathtaking at night. We also came to find out they played jazz piano and had a beautiful singer. Who surprised us yet again with her jazz flute. This has been the highlight of my trip to Japan thus far. If I could go back and replan my trip, I'd have stayed here in...
