What an amazing omakase experience! A must try while in Kanazawa!
Our hotel recommended this place and booked it for us, so we went there not really knowing what to expect.
The place was absolutely amazing! This was the best omakase we had while in Japan, and we did many! It was probably also one of our best meal throughout the trip.
The chef was super knowledgeable and professional. The sushi was perfectly prepared with a perfect proportion of fish and rice. It is Kanazawa, so fresh fish is guaranteed, however this fish went beyond what we expected in terms of flavour and freshness. Soft and buttery most of the sushi melted in the mouth. It was amazing!
We also ordered a bottle of wine cause we wanted to change from Sake and the wine list was really good.
All the rest was lovely and great, a lovely space, modern, comfortable and clean. Super friendly staff and attentive service. You can only sit on the counter, which is usual for an omakase and great cause you can see the process and interact with the chef.

Read moreWe had an absolutely incredible omakase dinner at Sushi Haru in Kanazawa. It's a cozy, intimate spot with only ten seats at the counter, which made the experience feel very special. The chef was not only amazingly skilled but also incredibly kind and welcoming. He took the time to explain each dish in detail, which really enhanced our appreciation for the food. Every single piece of sushi was so, so, so delicious â truly one of the best omakase meals we've ever had. The freshness of the fish was undeniable, and the chef's expertise was evident in every bite. What made the evening even more memorable was the friendly atmosphere. We were seated next to a large group of Japanese locals, and they were incredibly warm and hospitable, making us feel right at home. It was a truly authentic and unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend Sushi Haru to anyone looking for exceptional sushi...
Read moreAmazing Kanazawa omakase sushi and sashimi with a talented chef who first reveals his delectable fish and seafood selection for the evening, then meticulously prepares an inspired meal, while keeping his guests entertained and absorbed in the process. An experience. The lightly and perfectly toasted fugu was sublime. Each fish offering is prepared with perfect accompanying ginger, green onion, fresh wasabi and other taste enhancing additions. The restaurant is a beautifully appointed gleaming wooden âbarâ that serves no more than a dozen guests. The meal is priced around Yen 13,000 which is a âbargainâ for the level of skill of this young chef artist and the pleasure of this experience. The restaurant is small, on a side street, off the beaten path. The best of...
