Loved this experience, it was a suggestion of our hotel and we were very impressed!

There were some get set options but we wanted to go a la carte and make our own selections which was probably a more expensive option but it was great to be able to choose some different items under the guidance of the chef (who spoke great English)

The uni was definitely a highlight and piled high on the rice and so was all the ebi (prawn)

I would suggest booking ahead so that you ensure a seat.

The shop is also a little tricky to find, we thought it was on the outside of the market but it is just inside one of the main entrances, so...

We managed to get a walk in slot and they pre-warned us that was for an hour. We opted for the "omakaze" to get a cross section of the foods, and whilst some of it was great and we could appreciate the craft of the sushi maker, it was maybe a bit adventurous for us in parts with sea snails, sea urchin and milt (fish sperm) which we tried our best with. The sushi was great otherwise and it was great sitting at the bar with the full view of it being made, but maybe a la carte may have been a better option for us. Worth a...

We booked an all day tour and this was the spot that we stopped at for lunch. It was AMAZING! We trusted the Chefs to prepare what ever they wanted and it didn't disappoint.

Every piece of fish literally melted in my mouth. The Chefs were amazingly kind and attentive and just Masters of their craft.

Drinks were delicious, and if you are here in summer time, I always recommend the Lemon or Yuzu Sour...
