Amazing pizza 🍕. Best I've had in Japan, let alone Kashiwa. 🍕The pizza is very much worth every penny, amazing taste to the topings and dough. Cooked in a proper pizza oven too. Price for pizza goes from around ¥900~¥1800 depending on toppings etc. With a margherita being about ¥1200 after tax. Each pizza is about 25cm but you can request a smaller (16cm) size for about ¥150 less. Not that you would/should though! You'll likely be ordering seconds! 😆 Lasagne was edible and tasted ok. But seemed a little "Japanised" maybe??? To me, lasagne should be a simple meat sauce (meat, onion, garlic, chopped tomatos and some herbs) layered with a cheese based sauce and lasagne pasta sheets. This one included chopped aubergine [eggplant] so gave an interesting and unexpected flavour. I've seen aubergine used for vegetarian versions and even seen aubergine used as an alternative for lasagne pasta sheets [vegan version maybe?] But chopped up within what's supposed to be a normal lasagne was a bit weird for me. Definitely tasty, just not lasagne IMO. The lasagne was heated in the pizza oven which was a nice touch (I really hate the use of microwaves in restaurants - I know it happens and is the best choice for something's but shouldn't be the primary heating/cooking method, so using the pizza oven was great). Even so, it could've been hotter (it was bubbling a little bit but wasn't actually that hot in the middle - warm enough to eat, but not hot).
Even though my opinion of the lasagne isn't exactly great, I've still given this place 5 stars purely because of the amazing pizza. THAT'S how good...

The menu offers a great variety of choices, accommodating different dietary preferences. The cheese and Margherita pizzas, in particular, are exceptional. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Although it is a small place, the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. The restaurant is well-equipped with a sink for handwashing and a restroom, ensuring convenience for guests. There’s also a small parking space right in front of the shop. While the space is compact, the experience it offers is truly amazing. I highly recommend Pizzeria Bella Vita to anyone looking for top-quality pizza in Kashiwa. It’s a...
