I’ve been to Eggs n Things many times, and this location in particular several times over the past two years. It’s always been over-priced, but it used to be worth it for a special treat on occasion.
That is simply not the case anymore. Egg n Things was known for giving free refills on the hot Kona coffee blend. That made the pricing of the other menu items slightly less outrageous. However, not only did they raise the price by 100¥, they’ve now done away with the free refills (apparently since Spring of 2023). Now each single cup of BLEND coffee costs 550¥. It used to be ¥450 for free refills. Might as well go to an artisan coffee shop and get higher quality drip for that price.
To order a side of bacon was almost 700¥. That is absolutely ridiculous, even when you account for inflation.
The french toast with fruit was good, except for the frozen berries. They were mushy and not appetizing. Really disappointing, especially when Japan is famous for strawberries in this season.
The one good point was the staff were lovely and helpful. I don’t blame them for anything. They were attentive and doing their best.

Read moreThe waffle here is absolutely a stomach pleaser. The waffle is decently sized and will get you full. I had the chocolate chip waffle with whipped cream. Let me tell you, the amount of whipped cream you get is a tower, it takes some work to eat this monster. Forget the maple syrup, the waffle, chocolate chips, and whipped cream makes it already sugary. The service is fast and good. Some of the staffs can speak and understand English. They also have an English menu so that helps a lot when ordering. Everything is a bit pricey, but the quality of service and food makes up for that. A good place for casual dining or taking a nice break...

Came there, there are was empty tables, but staff asked us to wait. Ok, since it was really cold outside we tried to stay inside. But, staff came again and said for us to go outside and wait there. We asked reason, she said we bothering other customers. Well, it was early morning and it was literally nobody in a lobby or in line. We tried to have a polite point, that its cold there and no people around again, but staff just opened a door and said "get out" in a...
