PUBLIC HOUSE Musashikosugi Shop — Restaurant in Kawasaki

The restaurant is very appealing to the eye, it made me want to visit. It looks to be a good place to meet up with friends.

We ordered the steak and fries, the steak which was cooked medium rare to medium was good, except I didn’t like how rare some parts of the steak was. The fries were overly salty.

Our other dish was the seafood ragu pizza, the topping was also very salty.

We ordered beverages, but they didn’t give our table water automatically.

I wouldn’t go to say the service was bad, but we didn’t really have much interaction with the waitstaff, besides showing us to the table, giving the menu, bringing the drinks and dishes over.

Ordering was through QR code.

I had a high expectation for this place as the outside looked appealing and atmospheric, but I was hoping for a bit more, at least in terms of food quality.

Oh also, since the restaurant is situation under the train passageway, the vibration was frequently noticeable.

Nice atmosphere, really nice staff and affordable and good drinks. Nothing too special but the price is right.

We had Margherita and Quattro Formaggi Pizza. The latter had pineapples on it for some reason, but hey, I personally like them a lot and it worked out pretty well.

The Margherita was good too.

Only negative thing is the dough of the Pizza. Way too thin. Tastewise it was...

The “cook” absolutely cooked the pizza. Messed up the amount of cheese - couldn't add more without increasing the oven time and burning it. So he used a バーナー which made the whole thing taste like gas. Totally gross - had to watch the whole thing from my seat. I was so sad when I saw it being brought to my table - so many...
