Roastelier cafe is a wonderful place to get coffee, and maybe a light snack, in Sannomiya. The barristas and cafe staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. They demonstrate a high level of understanding in the coffee they serve, and coffee in general. The cafe ambience is relaxed and very easy going. Calming jazz flows through the cafe, and the environment is kept cool in summer and warm in winter. Disappointed with the new menu after the renewal. The roast beef sandwich is gone, which was the best item on the menu previously, and they used to do a great ice mocha which has been replaced by something that tastes much cheaper. I was also unable to use the points I'd accumulated from before the reopening. Still a nice space and okay food but nothing that separates it from other cafés...

We went there when the second floor was having a science in English presentation, so we had to sit in the rather limited first floor. Cappuccino was reasonable, wife's jasmine was nice, and their crepes were quite tasty.

However, they only had plastic forks, not even plastic knifes, and no paper napkins. I'd probably have given it one more star if we could have...
