5-stars all around for the second floor lunch course. Each time, we have had the pleasure of enjoying an impeccably wonderful full course lunch presented with elegant, authentic Western flair. Each dish showcases refined flavors—fresh fish, tender meats, and seasonal French-Austrian inspired cuisine—served in a classy and tranquil old-style European house-like ambiance. The atmosphere is luxurious yet welcoming, combining antique furnishings and thoughtful top notch service for a sophisticated dining experience that still feels warm and inviting -- and is the best value for the cost for an experience like this of anywhere in Kobe or even Hyogo prefecture that we can think of. We had been reluctant to post a 5-star Google review for a long time, as it still remains one of Kobe's "best kept secrets" and... well... when you experience it, you will know why one would wish to keep it an "in the know" kind of secret. While the touristy clamor and hubbub of the often less than elegant vibe passes by on the street below, you are in just the opposite space -- elegance, quiet comfort, classic European style decor, and impeccable taste and service. Please come with an empty stomach though, as the appetizer dishes and desert alone would make most people full on their own (and you don't want to be too full to enjoy the desert, trust us!). Having seen how many other positive reviews there are, we finally went ahead with the review (we usually wait until many multiple visits for the best ones anyway before we post a review). We look forward to dining there...

The presentation is both sophisticated and distinctive. The finishing touches on both the food and drinks are visually appealing and add to the...
Read moreThis was such a fancy branch of this cafe chain. The menu is even made with solid wood which is cool. At this branch I was able to try the ice coffee that comes in an ice block that is only available in July and August at this specific branch. It was really cool as it takes about 20 minutes to get as it is being crafted by hand for you. You can use the big spoon to make the remaining coffee after drinking it into a shaved ice mixture which is like getting two treats in one. The atmosphere is great for spending a few hours without...
