The worst Starbucks I have had the misfortune NOT to enter.
A roundish design, slightly elevated on a faint promontory. Great location, design, and view - but astonishingly hard to find the entrance. There are entrances in at least three compass directions, two of which are clearly entrances, but are marked “Do Not Enter”… Although, frustratingly, one can readily see the jollity within.
I made two circuits before I could find the real entrance, which looks so unfriendly that I saw several Japanese hesitate and debate before trying the door. Two Japanese families did the same as I did: gave up in anger and frustration, and walked over to another coffee shop near where the rickshaws operate. As I walk with a stick, I was especially disappointed at the uncalled for athletics.
Utterly narcissistic management, too lazy to arrange access for the convenience of customers.

Not to mention the zombie apocalypse, there are 2 other doors that say not an entrance (but of course you wouldn't know that until you actually reach the door) which then leads you to a different entrance around the corner. The path takes you through a bed of pebbles and stones, dodging tables trying not to tip over the small space, good luck rolling your wheels on that. Other than that typical Starbucks setting, nothing special. Recommend only for walking people without strollers or...
Read moreToday, I had a rather disappointing experience at this Starbucks. I typically bring my own bottle and request that my drink be poured into it as a way to contribute to environmental sustainability. However, this time, the barista declined my request with a rude attitude, asserting that my bottle was not clean enough. While my bottle is not washed after last drink, I was confident that it was still suitable for use(at least I did not mind it). I was surprised by the rude refusal, especially since I've had no issues using my bottle at other Japanese Starbucks. The barista's response left me feeling frustrated and taken aback by...
