Didn’t get to eat, just walked through the area and looked at the cactus on sale… (the prices, wow) Such pretty flowers and landscaping, and loved how they have the names of the plants next to them. Must have a meal here on my next visit! (There is a one-star review on here about a zoo… that is probably not this shop… Can’t seem to send the irrelevant report)

停車場ガーデンさんは、小諸駅改札を出ると、すぐ左にあります。目の前に見えてくる建物の中には、多肉植物中心の売り場・手作り小物(バッグ・マスクなど)や陶器の鉢などが置かれているスペースがありレジの手前には、小諸などのお土産にもなる食品や手作りパン屋さんのパンも並んでいます。大きなスペースではありませんが内容は充実していて、お値段もお安くておすすめです。私は、多肉植物の寄せ植え&下部がかごのようにペーパークラフトで編まれ、上部と持ち手が布で出来たハンドメイドのバッグを購入。パンも購入し、家に帰ってから食べたのですが、レジのお姉さんのおすすめどうり、とても美味しいパンでした。停車場ガーデンさんへ行くのは初めてで、事前にtelで問い合わせしてから行ったのですがお聞きしていたとうり、今の時期(3月16日)はガーデン内はなにも咲いていない状態でしたが、目的が多肉植物でしたので大満足でした。私のように車の運転をしないと、駅からすぐ…というのはとても助かります。 5月ゴールデンウィーク後くらいからが、ガーデンのお花が咲き揃うようです。すぐ隣に小諸懐古園もあり、4月3日からは桜祭りも始まるようです。後になってしまいましたが、多肉植物&小物ショップの奥にはレストランがあります。私が行った時、ランチは3種類でしたが、12時前でそのうち1種類は売り切れでした。ランチの内容は、その時によって変わるようで値段は￥1000位。プラス￥250で飲み物が付きます。暖かい日は外のテラスで食べることも可能です。決してまずくは無いのですが、飲み物付き￥1250は少し高いかな…という印象。次に行った時は、パンを購入して外で食べようかな…と思っています。

This zoo is utterly repugnant. The animals are kept in tiny, cramped, dirty cages and look sick and depressed. We didn't mean to visit, but it was included with the park ticket, and had to leave half way through I was so upset. Those poor animals, this zoo should be shut down.
