Honestly if it is not freshly made, you can skip the sea urchin croquettes. We bought the premium version at around 5pm. As it was close to end of business hours for the shop, it was the only option available and you know that there is no way it is freshly made. While the croquette was still warm and crispy on the outsides, you can’t really taste the cream as it was mostly overpowered by the taste of sea urchin. It’s quite obvious this is a tourist-focused spot, located near a busy tourist area, and the ingredients weren’t particularly high quality. It was a bit disappointing, especially since I usually expect much better food when dining in Japan.
