we came here at around 14:15 expecting for a late lunch, got our seats at 14:20 and started reading through the lunch menu. Until at 14:30, we were told that lunch menu is only only available till 14:00. we did our research and even tried to translate japanese comments before visiting, expected to try their savory dish, and there wasn’t anywhere that stated lunch is only served until 14:00 (even the lunch menu itself). what frustrated us is that staff did not mention anything when bringing us to our seats, until 10 minutes later when she serve us water she told us to better leave if we are looking for lunch.
we ended up ordering a parfait and a drink (because we already got seated and served water), and it took more than 30 minutes to be served.
another thing is the menu may not include all informations about the food item. the lemon parfait that we ordered, written on menu lemon & yogurt, definitely has caramelised almonds in it. if you’re someone with food allergies, like me, you better be careful and ask before ordering. if not, you may end up paying but not able to enjoy the food at all. or worse, end up with a severe...
