The food here was good, ingredients were of good quality and the overall flavour met expectations.
The reason stars were lost was because this restaurant uses a different menu for tourists. Where locals were ordering off the usual folders with written menus, we were given a blank piece of paper with a list of prices, and asked how much we wanted to pay. The cheapest on this list was 6,600 yen and it goes up to around 130,000 yen per person.
For the 6,600 menu, we got several cold dishes, a warm dish, soup, rice and dessert. The food was good, but on the whole, the menu felt expensive. However, I felt so disappointed after I get in the restaurant. Obviously this restaurant wasn’t a tourist-friendly restaurant as it gave a menu to me which is totally different from what I saw in tabelog/trip advisor/ goggle.
