I’ve literally travelled across Japan and eaten LOTS of soba. I can easily say, hands down, this is one of the best meals I’ve had in my entire 8 months in this country. I had the spring seasonal wild greens tempura set, which was incredible, along with hot soba, and my friend had the classic mushroom cold soba set. Read moreThe soba here is handmade in-house. The chef even does it in the front of the restaurant so you can see him cutting it. The chef is a friendly guy who interacts with all customers. He was very helpful with helping us select a sake. He even gave my wife a free sample of the Snow Monster sake. That one was nice light and smooth with a touch sweetness. Read moreI got here already starving, and immediately was warmly welcomed with a smile, and hot tea. I had the maitake cold soba set, while my friend had the wild forage and hot soba set. We asked for sake recommendation and got a really nice sweet sake. The food arrived quickly, it wad DELICIOUS! We got two other sake shots on the house, just so we can try some! The dude who works here was such a kind guy, I fell in love with his nice and happy vibes. So was the lady in the kitchen!
