Kusatsu Onsen Pudding — Restaurant in Kusatsu

I think we ordered everything that best selling. The hot pudding with ice cream is creamy & delicious. Both pudding & ice cream are creamy, taste very milky. Melt in the mouth. One of the pudding changed color after mixed with lemon, it was interesting. The last picture is after mixed. But a fit failure, coz when I stir accidentally mixed with the pudding at the bottom. Turn out the jelly from blue turn to puplr and with some white spot(pudding). We didnt know about this should but just join the Q to try. We glad that we manage to bought it at 10.30am. Very fast sold out. On our way back around 1.15pm, shop already closed. It may have closed even earlier. Maybe can produce more let more people got chance to try it. Halloween decoration...

It's japanese pudding. It's too bad I didn't get the chance to taste the signature onsen egg pudding because it was sold out at around 2 PM when I got there (and it was weekdays...). So I ended up with their Yumomi plain pudding. The pudding tastes really good, although I don't find anything special about the taste and texture as it can also be found in other parts of Japan. You only need to stir the jelly part on top of the pudding .. the jelly part will turn to a different color do not need to stir the pudding..
