We were walking by and dropped into the restaurant without any advance notice so I think they were a bit surprised since we didn’t have a reservation.
Overall the host and staff were all excellent.
We got the omakase. The chef prepared the food and the menu was fairly diverse.
Overall the food was good but not even in the top 3 best meals we had in Niseko.
There were 8 dishes so you are paying almost 4000 yen a dish, which seems excessive since some are small things like dessert.
Another issue was the service, which was just okay for such an expensive restaurant.
For example they gave us a hot towel at the start but then didn’t collect it until the end of meal service, even though it was used and just sitting there the entire meal.
Also when they brought the bill, it was just a single total and not itemized with the drinks and other items we were charged for. We have no idea what the other costs were.
Overall for the price of 33,000 yen a person without drinks, I would say it is not worth it.
For that price in Tokyo or any other major city, you could eat at a 2 Michelin star restaurant. This restaurant is charging 2 Michelin star prices but doesn’t deliver on the food or service.
It is a new restaurant so hopefully...

Read moreWhat an experience! As I don’t eat fish or seafood I was skeptical about what to expect here but the chef created an exceptional meal for me. Watching the chef and his assistant was an experience in itself; watching them prepare, create and plate the dishes of our 8 course dinner was feast for the eyes as well our appetites. Everything I ate was delicious. Service was wonderful and our party of 9 was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant is new and I sincerely wish them good luck for a long and prosperous future. If you’re visiting Niseko, this restaurant should definitely be...
