CAFE attmos. — Restaurant in Kyoto

Came here right at opening on a weekend and glad I did as it was quiet and not filled to capacity. You can just tell this place is going to blow up through instagram; the decor, the food, it screams “upload me”. I had the fig toast and not only it looks gorgeous, it was DELICIOUS. They smother the bread with a creamy layer of cream cheese which surprisingly isn’t as sweet as it looks. The slight bitterness of the black sesame complimented the cream cheese and the fig. Pricing is reasonable considering each toast is made individually with attention to details. I would love to eat this every week...if only I lived in Kyoto. Came here with some cousins for lunch and enjoyed a really lovely bowl of Japanese style beef tendon udon, it was really yummy.

We tried the berry cream soda and the kiwi cream soda, which was quite refreshing, not too sweet but really delicious.

We then ordered dessert, but didn’t realise how large the desserts were. The peach and cherry French toast was gigantic, so much fruit and the French toast was so soft and tasty.

We also tried the hojicha French toast which came in a bowl but that was also very delicious.

We came right after the cafe was opened but many dishes on the menu was not yet ready. So we ended up ordering pancake and toast which took more than 40 minutes to come. The bread for the toast was too big and dry I could not finished mine. But appearance wise.. the plating was beautiful! Instagram-able but nothing special...
