Visited Kyoto, went to a beautiful nearby shrine, and then walked around trying to find somewhere to have some tea and kill some time before our dinner. We walked around for a while, because a lot of things weren't open yet, this part of town parties hard and into the night.
And then we stumbled upon this place! It had just opened, it was quaint, cozy, clean, simple, so we decided to relax for a bit and sip on some tea. I forgot what kind of tea we ordered, but I think I got a chai, and it was delicious, and it came with a little cracker! Fun.
There was also a beautiful backyard with a ton of rock formations, trees and plants and moss, a little stream, and a little torii gate out there. It was actually all surprisingly beautiful.
Very nice place....

The very kind owner lives nextdoor and also runs a guest house on the other side of the cafe. Great place to rest and enjoy a tea or coffee while walking around the neighborhood. Would be a great place to do some work. Vegan friendly, has soy...
