Colorado Masusan — Restaurant in Kyoto

The worst cafe experience I’ve ever had. It took 30 minutes for the coffee to arrive and then it was completely burned and tasting very bitter. Clearly the coffee was brewed with water that was way too hot.

Now a normal cafe would fix their mistake and give us new coffee. Instead, the staff refused to accept their mistake and would not replace our coffee or take it off the bill. They rudely told us to put more milk and sugar in it to mask the bitterness, but it honestly tasted like charcoal. So we walked out after all that waiting, while the staff were yelling at us.

There was an old man behind the bar slowly brewing all the coffees. I think the young women servers aren’t allowed to tell him about his mistakes. It’s so dysfunctional, what kind of restaurant tries to make their customers pay for...

A somewhat peculiar coffee shop. The tables and chairs give you the impression of an english tea house for old ladies.

I ordered the Iced Mocha and Pancakes. I didn't really liked the Mocha, It didn't have anything particularly bad, just, not to my taste. The pancakes were fluffy, soft and mildly flavoured, so they were okay.

The menu has some English text and the staff does speak English, so there should be no problem ordering here.

Entered the place, immediately was a foul smell. Nevertheless we went in and wanted to eat a croissant, they said take out only, not allowed to eat inside. We sat down, ordered 3 espressos, they said no, because every single person sitting has to order something, otherwise we get nothing.
