Red bean millet zenzai was a let down. The glutinuous millet wasn't chewy stretchy enough, the red bean paste was average in taste. The zenzai from Umezono located at Reimon was way superb, definitely uncomparable

I ordered the 「抹茶生菓子セット」 and it was just beautifully presented. After yiu sre seated, you are offered tea and a small dry wagashi made of sugar. I decided to try their specialty, kuzukiri—noodles with syrup. Upon arrival, you're welcomed with cold tea and a mini sugar sweet. The noodles arrived in a stunning set of dishes, masterfully served on ice with a separate bowl of syrup—I chose the brown sugar syrup. It was an absolute discovery—silky, soft, cold noodles paired with the sweet syrup were incredible.

The service was outstanding, and the café itself is beautiful, featuring tall ceilings and a full-height glass window overlooking a garden.
