Green Garden — Restaurant in Kyoto

We came here to have breakfast because the Green Garden Cafe was the only one opened at 11am. The omelet for breakfast on its web-side was shown with some salat, bread and tea. Instead we got just omelet with a piece of bread. No any explains. There were given two Wi-Fi links - one is free for quests and another one requires a password. The free one did not work. When we asked about the Wi-Fi, the hostess just said "No Wi-Fi" and didn't even bother trying to give a second try. The food ( omelet ) was ok but it could be much better with some salat as on their photo. We paid 1000 yen per person just for two eggs with one piece of bread and a very small cup of black tea (teabag), and, of course, for hostess' lovely smile. But you cannot be full with smile, do you? So this is too expensive even in Kyoto. We did really enjoy the trip in such a beautiful city Kyoto and its delicious and amazing food. Lovely place and experience. Single handledly run by a very nice lady, so do not come here if you are in a rush, but do come by if you want to be served fantastically by a lovely host. We ordered two iced matchas (my gf asked for hers with ice cream, which our host was more than willing to accomodate unlike other matcha places), a lemon cake and an egg and cheese sandwich, all under 4k. Are you kidding me because this was the most adorable place we’ve ever stumbled across in our entire lives… there’s this one older woman who runs the whole cafe. She takes your order, cooks your food AND serves you. She is heaven sent!!! She is so kind and accommodating, we absolutely fell in love with her and her cafe. Her space is beautifully designed with a mix of Japanese, French and American decor. The outside is beautifully potted with plants everywhere and is extremely clean.
