Hyotei — Restaurant in Kyoto

On a chilly day nothing warms the soul quite like a nice bowl of Soba/Udon. This restaurant was a great stop on our hike back down.

The workers greeted us enthusiastically, was accommodating to foreign tourists and provided us with delicious food at a good cost.

Generally I'm not a huge fan of buckwheat, so soba usually gets the pass from me, but considering I found myself in Fushimi Inari, I felt Kitsune Soba would be the most appropriate choice, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and sip of the dish.

Instead of being greeted with water, we were greeted with a very refreshing cup of green tea.

Stuff services are far from good quality of hospitality. I couldn't believe they were Japanese and I would never be back here but a good idea if you did so to reduce the number of tourists who come here. I will do the negative campaign to my friends so that they avoid visiting here...
