On a chilly day nothing warms the soul quite like a nice bowl of Soba/Udon. This restaurant was a great stop on our hike back down.
The workers greeted us enthusiastically, was accommodating to foreign tourists and provided us with delicious food at a good cost.
Generally I'm not a huge fan of buckwheat, so soba usually gets the pass from me, but considering I found myself in Fushimi Inari, I felt Kitsune Soba would be the most appropriate choice, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite and sip of the dish.
