Kinkaku the after Point — Restaurant in Kyoto

Amazing pasta. You have to come and try it. The smoked bacon is so so so amazing in carbonara and mushroom and bacon peperocino. Every forkful is an absolute delight. My husband is a pasta addict, eating pasta all around the world but this is probably the best carbonara we've ever had. Craft bear was delicious too. Number 2 is a nice light tasty beer. The owner puts a lot of love into his cooking and we are the beneficiaries of it.

Edit: We came back again, took a bus all the way for 40 minutes just to eat this pasta again before we go. We just want everyone to come here and have this wonderful experience. We've been to Italy and this pasta is still better omg do yourself a favour and have this pasta in Japan. Will be better than the sashimi you've...

Loved the experience! Nice music, simple but delicious pasta and nice drinks. I was driving on the day so couldn't try the craft beer selections which looked really good. Ordered the Kyoto style smoked tea, which had a super interesting taste, and the carbonara (long pasta) which was delicious too. Nice packaging, doubles as a takeaway box...

People say the craft beer scenery is big in Kyoto and i'm here for it.

These craft beers are so good (but a little pricey) and is great for any good break from nearby Kinkaku-ji.
