The Sea Bream Ramen we ordered was bursting with flavor, a true delight for the taste buds. The service was excellent, and surprisingly swift too. A perfect pit stop for a quick and delicious meal! 🍜✨

This lunch restaurant isn’t far from the Golden Temple. Food: 4/5 - their specialty was the sea bream rice dish. We had the beef bowl on top of rice instead which was tasty and filling. They also serve ramen. Service: 5/5 great service and friendly staff Atmosphere: 5/5 nice ambience to the place. The place filled up quickly. They preferred customers to pay cash.

Overcrowded by students visiting the kinkaku-ji temple (who are offered a special menu which attracts them), this spot specializes in dishes containing Red Sea bream. The sushi on top of Donburi was good but scarce considering the price. Service was kind but slow. Overall, don’t expect any hidden gem but it is still one of the best local options in this area.

Typical JP meal. We have a gluten intolerance and they did their utmost to accommodate (we brought our own GF soy sauce). So, if you are gluten free, not the best place unless you bring your own sauce and do not miss having miso (theirs contains barley). Very kind people and hope they include a GF version in their menu in the future. They do not charge any...
