This restaurant and the manager are wonderful. First off, the food was plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed this meal over the Kobe beef (top rank wagyu) meal we had the night prior in Kobe. The setting was superb - it was cozy with a modern feel as they opened the restaurant 4 years ago. We don't speak Japanese unfortunately, but the chef/host Minari's English was great. A great place for Shabu Shabu and beef based dishes. It is tucked away behind a couple of buildings, especially if you are arriving via taxi or car. The best way to get here is walking up the path through Maruyama Park. What makes the place even better is the bubbly manager/owner - Minori! She was extremely friendly and warm and took pride in her establishment. She recognised that the way the dish is supposed to be prepared was new for me so she went ahead and did it herself and walked me through it. Definitely worth visiting, everything is great. The manager served us that night as we appears to be the only customers who have reserved. Wagyu is served with the greatest A5 and A4 level, absolutely shocked how delicious it tastes.
