Please note: this cafe is within the Toei Kyoto Studio Park, and you will need to pay for entry. So please don't make the mistake I did and try and walk there directly, the security will direct you to the park entrance where you can buy a ticket! Follow the signs from JR Uzumasa station for a short walk to the park! Google Maps likes to take a long and confusing route! NERV Cafe is pretty basic. Food is more expensive than the amount of food you get. We ate there purely for the nostalgia and merch from Evangelion (free coasters, and weird soda cup holder with EVA 1). There is a small gift shop there.

While touring around Kyoto Studio Park, we got exhausted by the intense summer heat and got famished since it's already afternoon. We decided to dine at Nerv Cafe, located near the Evangelion Base. We ordered 2 of the colorful curries and a collaboration drink. By the way, if you ordered any item within the Evangelion menu, you will receive a random coaster for every item. In this case, we were given 4 of the special coasters. Besides selling foods and drinks, the restaurant is also a souvenir store. For evangelion fans, this place is a must visit.
