We came across this delightful little restaurant which we would highly recommend
Cold beer and simple but relishes fare - this resturant in the Kyoto Gino area was really good - offering sushi and tempura as it’s lunch time specials
Always best to order a “set” rather than al a carte (although you could) we had a delicious meal of set number 4 sushi with miso soup and chefs special tempura - with cold ice beer - Wow it was fabulous
Always best to get into those little traditional streets in Gion and find where the Japanese eat as it’s always extra yummy
Highly recommend a visit here !
We were also in our own little Japanese room so very delightful- and we were all laughing at the Japanese toilet that had a life of its own as they all do
So very clean...

It would’ve been nice to hear an explanation of all the sashimi meats to understand what we were eating (as you usually would at a top-tier restaurant), but it was lovely...
