Food: we ordered a curry set and it was incredible. 900¥ for a very tasty ramen soup, curry and rice very nice, fresh salad and pickles. Service: The service is running by a couple who are so lovely, especially the man who tries to speak in English and Spanish all time, explaining the menu and showing us the most interesting spots around Kyoto. This is by far the best dining experience we have had in Japan. The food is amazing and the hosts are so lovely. Even brought out a map to see where we are from. Slipped me a sake to try plus shochu one with water and one with soda and asked which I prefer (water). We have dined here a few times now and are definitely making this our last meal...
