Taj Mahal Everest Karasuma Oike — Restaurant in Kyoto

It's a crazy wow! I could say more than perfect!

Come here after going to Kyoto My Number Card center. After random picking, with "Indian restaurant" keyword at Google Map search, so we took a bit walk to this place. Located near the main road, this restaurant have many seats, unique interior, and cozy ambience. Small parking area.

We came early before dinner time, but got a warm greeting from the staff. They speak english, nepali, and japanese fluently. Great hospitality. English menu is available.

I love their beautiful serving. I like curry, so I order their curry rice set, but really didn't expect the awesome taste. I don't know how, but the food make my heart melt. My husband order cheese nan set, and it's very delicious. I will leave my favourite cheese pizza for this nan. For sure, I will come here again.

I wanted a little break from the local cuisine and found this gem. I can honestly say this was the best Indian food I’ve ever had the chance to eat. I got the lunch meal that is served with the biggest piece of naan bread I have ever seen, along with butter chicken curry and the curry of the day. The meal also came with a salad and a drink. Really awesome Indian cuisine! Food tastes phenomenal and comes out pretty fast after ordering. The cheese naan tastes very unique compared to America as the cheese used here in Japan is very sweet, milky, and stretchy. Needless to say, I indulged myself. You get a large quantity of food for a very great price. The employees are kind and attentive. It's near the subway and the hotel I was staying at so it's very convenient.
