CHISO GALLERY — Attraction in Kyoto

We walked passed and was captivated by the beautiful vibrant silk scarfs displaying by the window and decided to investigate only to realised its a heritage kimono maker.

Theres the front shop area with beautifully crafted leather goods, folding fans and of course scarfs. And at the back of the store is where you can learn about the exquisite kimono fabrication and up close with the display of current season kimonos in glass display cases.

A small gallery is on the second floor with rotating exhibition and more vintage kimonos on display.
