Tonimaru Chawanzaka — Restaurant in Kyoto

One of the cheapest Matcha or Vanilla ice cream shop for only about 350yen. I think this is the cheapest price so far (correct me if i'm wrong) all throughout my stay in Osaka/Kyoto.

Customer service is great, you can only take out the ice cream and have to ordered different menu to dine in. Other than that, the place is chill. Came during winter so the weather was very cold plus eating ice cream added the coldness.

Ordered some matcha ice cream. Not too sweet and taste just nice with a little bit bitter from the matcha powder. Good food, nice view, great...

Candy was only okay, just pretty. I had a beer and dessert in the cafe though and it was delicious. Very refreshing after the long walk through the hill and mountain.

Cafe has a minimum order of one food item each for seating. Be aware. This wasn't a problem but some people seem to not understand this. It is okay as the place is small and I am sure otherwise it would be too full.

Staff was attentive and everything...

worst customer service i've ever experienced. the male staff manner was so bad. Seems like he didn't care about the shop at all. I ordered an ice cream and he said that the shop is closed without even looking at me, he just shouted from inside　"閉店です". At least look at me properly and say it, so rude. You should also put the close sign if you don't want...
