The worst sushi I’ve ever had—absolutely not fresh.
If you’re looking for quality sushi, this is definitely not the place to go. And don’t even bother complaining to the staff; they’ll simply deny everything. I initially raised my concerns in Japanese, but the waiter repeatedly denied what I said. When I switched to English after running out of Japanese, the waiter just said, “No English,” and walked away.
Honestly, I’m not that surprised after spending a few weeks in Japan. Japanese service can be so deceiving—outwardly polite expressions masking impolite behaviors underneath.

Avoid this place at all costs!

Read moreUpon visiting Kiyomizu-dera Temple, we were delighted by the numerous restaurant options. We ultimately selected this particular establishment due to the appealing appearance of the menu items. While the staff's English proficiency was limited, we managed to order a sushi set, which was incredibly fresh. We also ordered ramen; the broth was already quite flavorful, though I personally preferred to enhance it with a touch more...
