Disappointing despite attractive shop front

Went in for lunch and ordered the chicken and shrimp Tohkatsu.

Chicken Tohkatsu was very poor and consisted of a very thin slice of chicken coated with a thick layer of batter. They are skimping on chicken. Also the chicken was disgustingly oily.

ごくごく普通の定食屋。 何か特徴的なメニューがあるわけではないが定番どころは揃っており、加えて季節ごとのメニューもあったりと押さえるべきところはきちんと押さえている。値段も高すぎず安すぎず。「普通の定食屋」という評価を目標としているのかと思うくらいにしっくりくる。

味の方は値段を考えたら十分と思えるレベル。 おかわり自由の出汁は無料というのが信じられない程クオリティが高いのでぜひ飲んでみてほしい。少し濃い目なので薄味が好きな人は氷を入れよう。 おすすめはチキン南蛮。しっかりとタルタルソースがかかってるのに最後までパリパリ感を保つ衣がお気に入り。それなのに身は硬くない、食べて美味しい嬉しい一品に仕上がっている。

店員は基本的に店内におらず案内もしくは配膳の時だけ出てくるため、邪魔になることはなく食事に集中できる環境が嬉しい。
