【2nd Vist】 Today marked my second visit to this delightful cafe. Last time, I was too full to indulge, but I finally savored the tart I’d been eyeing, paired with their exquisite coffee, making for a perfect afternoon. The strawberry tart was a sweet symphony of flavors, and the staff-recommended fruity Colombian coffee was simply divine. I can see myself becoming a regular here! 【1st Vist】 Ethiopian beans from three different jars displayed on the counter. Each jar had a card describing the characteristics of the beans, which was a helpful touch. My coffee was brought to my table with a card detailing the specific beans used, which I appreciated. It was a pleasure to finally find a cafe where I could enjoy a cup of coffee that was exactly to my taste. Unfortunately, I had just eaten lunch and was too full to try any of the delicious-looking cakes on offer. Next time, I'll be sure to come back and save room for dessert!

Read moreSome of the best coffee I've have in my life, but... Despite having a la marzocco mini... They can't offer a double shot of Espresso. The beans are wonderful and in my opinion would still serve well as espresso.
A little confusing
Edit with update: I thought I would try again seeing as I came here in 2021 and I'm staying for a long time during this period in Matsumoto. I went in today to try and order a drip coffee. Just the Ethiopian beans and in their Cafe Latte. Shouldn't be a problem right?
The charge was 1500yen and I could only order a minimum of two cups according to the employee.
I honestly don't know what's happening at Cafe Larch, but I've been here quite a few times over the years and never had the problems I had these last weeks.
It's a big shame as it truly was one of the best coffee experiences I've had across the world, but now I can't even seem to order a coffee there.
Sorry for the rant, but just thought I should share...
Read moreI love this cafe space and how they set the seating arrangement, and of course the vintage wooden furnitures. Not sure if I should say that the cafe has two storey or a mezzanine but there are also seatings at the upper floor. The staffs are super friendly and always smiling. The drip coffee and canele are nice and I...
