We chose this because we were hoping for a nice cafe or tea room to enjoy dessert. We were puzzled (with nice empty tables available and 2 hours before closing) that we were told take out only. Even a disposable plate should cost less than the packaging for our togo items. It is true, that we may not understand all the rules Japanese live by, but we often wonder about the ones that make customers feel unwelcome or not appreciated. Once we did eat our dessert, we concluded we were told it was "take out only" because the staff did not wish to see our face of disappointment. 松本の銘菓、絶品シュークリーム

マサムラといえばシュークリームと天守閣サブレが有名です。 早く行かないと売り切れることが多いと聞いていましたが、この日は平日１４時半頃でもまだありました。

時間もあったので、店内でシュークリームを食べました。 ベビーシュークリームをはじめ、5種類のシュークリームがありました。 甘ささっぱりめの生クリームがたっぷり、やわらかしっとりのシュー生地。 何個でも食べられそうです。

次は、他のシュークリームも食べてみたいと思います。

手土産にもおすすめです。 広いテーブル席もあったので、小さいお子さん連れでも、ゆっくり楽しめると思います。

Matsumoto's famous and exquisite cream puffs

Masamura is famous for its cream puffs and keep sable. I had heard that they often sell out if you don't go early, but on this particular weekday around 2:30 p.m., there were still some available.

Since we had some time to kill, we ate cream puffs inside the store. There were five kinds of cream puffs including baby cream puffs. The soft and moist puff pastry was filled with lightly sweetened whipped cream. I could eat as many as I wanted.

Next time, I would like to try other cream puffs.

I also recommend it as a souvenir. There is also a large table, so even those with small children can enjoy their time here.
