A very bad experience in Matsumoto. The worst sukiyaki I've ever eaten😵

The price is so expensive, almost the same with Kisoji in Tokyo, but they can't even provide sufficient alcohol fuel. Only a small part of solid alcohol is given, in cold weather like this, even the soup cannot be boiled!!

Although staffs are friendly, however, when I require a new alcohol fuel, they still give a very small part of it. With a little fuel like this, it takes really long time to boil the food, I have to keep waiting, waiting, waiting…… Exhausted🫠🫠🫠

After I require alcohol fuel for three times, I finally get a whole cube of solid alcohol. I really have no idea the way they think about. Why don't provide it at first? Don't they think it's basic for...

If you are in Matsumoto and want to try their local food, this is a great teshokku experience. The set meals were delicious and the restaurant’s location is close to the JR Matsumoto station. I had the 山賊焼き(picture attached) which was scrumptious. We also had the ginger pork, tofu and the salmon set on the table that were all equally delicious. The place is reasonably priced too. The prices are very reasonable, offering great value for fresh local ingredients they use.
