As such, first-time visitors, whether Japanese or from overseas, might occasionally be turned away. The menu is delightfully simple: a daily set meal of grilled fish and side dishes for ¥850. Don't expect elaborate choices like tempura or sashimi here – this is authentic, delicious home-style Japanese cooking that locals enjoy every day. Unfortunately, English isn't spoken, and groups of three or more are not accepted. However, if you're lucky enough to get a seat, you're in for a treat: a truly delicious taste of everyday Japanese home cooking. While there's a chance you might be politely turned away depending on the day, if you're looking for a quiet spot to enjoy some solitary time and a truly genuine culinary experience, it's worth the effort to try!
