Absolutely delicious French bakery located conveniently right outside entrance of Matsumoto train station. I got so many goodies to try - the croissant was fresh, warm, flaky & buttery. I also had a flaky and crunchy pastry filled with veggie curry & cheese - this was so yummy and filling especially for a little meal on the go. It kept me full before a beautiful hike in the Kamikochi mountains 🏔️. Also tried the delish mushroom quiche, the cheese flaky pastry, corn soup & lemonade (the first lemonade I’ve had in Japan!) a must visit bakery, especially if...

I tried the chicken sandwich at this shop. Very delicious, it says it's spicy but I didn't find chili, the taste is so unique, the portion is very suitable for eating at breakfast. The chicken is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, maybe around 400 yen for this bun. We based ourselves in Matsumoto to explore the Nagano area and this bakery supplied all our breakfasts and snacks on the go. Personal favourites: tea and chocolate scone, and curry donut. As a Brit is was also nice to get my morning Royal Milk Tea from here. Feel very fondly of this little bakery and will seek it out in...
