Cabin — Restaurant in Matsushima

This is a coffee shop just outside Matsushima station. The owner is very kind and chill. They serve coffee and toast. I don’t know much about coffee but it was quite aromatic but the toast was fantastic. It was presented beautifully as well. The atmosphere inside the cabin is peaceful with painting and books for you to view. It’s definitely a perfect stop if you are visiting the nearby matsushima viewpoint which is like 10 mins walk from there or just waiting for your train. Spend a few minutes to compose...

松島市高木町を散歩しに行った時にネットで見つけて訪れてみました。普段は仙石線を使っているので松島海岸駅にしか降りず、こちらの方には来たことがなかったので初めてこのお店のことを知りました。

中は平成の３０年はどこかに追いやられ、昭和のテイストを色濃く残した内装で、カフェではなくてまさに「喫茶店」と言うのがふさわしい感じ。昭和の時代に喫茶店に通った人はノスタルジアを感じることでしょう。

ランチタイムに訪れたので昼食をと思い、メニューを見たら今はトーストとビーフカレーのみのようです。ビーフカレーとコーヒーのセットを注文しました。

ビーフカレーは銀のトレーに適度な量が盛られていて、普通に美味しかったです。コーヒーは他の方も言っていますがマスターが食事中に丁寧に入れてくれていて、あっさりとしたの見やすくておいしい味。

食事後は気軽にマスターが話しかけてきてくれました。
