Kogetsu Sushi — Restaurant in Mino

Due to good review written, I was also attracted to come to this restaurant. The Sushi are very fresh and tasty. It’s a family run restaurant. The daughter can speak very good English and can assist to translate the order to the father who is the Sushi master preparing the fresh catch of the day. Today catch is Big Clams steamed with Sakae. Every piece of sushi melt in your mouth with sweetness from the sea. A regular 6 piece sushi set cost only 1300yen or premium 7 piece sushi 2400yen come with a set of cucumber roll. Ate here for lunch and got the lunch set of the day. It included a nice small starter fish dish, followed by a fried chicken with sauce and some sort of egg salad dressing, then the main fresh raw seafood bowl with rice, then a chawanmushi and a fruit slice of the season. The staff were all family and the food was made with tremendous care. They were so welcoming and warm and it was a place where all locals and visitors come for a quick bite.

The whole vibe and environment of the space was amazing. Definitely recommend stopping by. I can't wait to come back for the dinner when I'm in the area again!
