This cafe is the best one I’ve been to in my 3 visits to Japan. The atmosphere is beautiful, if you can sit outside you can enjoy the river and watch the trains go by. The best part was the food! The grilled cheese onigiri was blissful, perfectly cooked and balanced. The egg roll was flavourful, bouncy and soft. I highly recommend it! (Edited to fix a typo)

I like the quaintness of the place…. next to a clear brook and train track, yet serene and peaceful. Of course the various onigiri is fascinating to try and we truly enjoyed it - along with a great cup of latte and matcha latte. The owner was pleasant and the Ukelele on display and for sale makes for a nice decor as well.

Wide selection of onigiri, relaxed vibe, friendly owner.

I had a breakfast set, which included one onigiri, dashimaki tamago and a drink for around 750 yen. My son's set included karaage.

It was a delicious and relaxing way to start our day before travelling on to Tokyo....
