Great Local Bar!! Music is awesome ( jazz, blues, oldies, great Japanese music). The owner/bar tender is a lovely, friendly man, speaks fluent English, so this bar fits also tourists. While a little pricier, Scarecrow is one of the best places in Mito! Yoshi san is wonderful and makes the most delicious drinks. He always plays great music that compliments the atmosphere. Not to mention the food is mouthwateringly good!

見つけちゃいました、水戸のお気に入り！仕事で一泊だけ水戸ステイ、せっかくだから素敵な店で一杯飲みたいなーって思って見つかったのがこちら！薄暗い照明にセンスの良い洋楽ポップスが流れ、おしゃれな空気に満たされた店内。ぱっと見ちょっと怖そうなのにとっても気さくなマスターと抜群に美味しいオリジナルカクテル。席で喫煙可能なので、非喫煙者の方は要注意ですが、水戸に来たら絶対ここで一杯飲むべきです！

I found Mito's favorite! I stayed in Mito for one night for work, so I wanted to have a drink at a nice store, then I found this place! The interior is filled with a stylish atmosphere, with dim lighting and tasteful Western pop music. At first glance, it looks a little scary, but it's a very friendly master and a delicious original cocktail. You can smoke at your seat, so non-smokers should be careful, but if you come to Mito, you should definitely have a drink here!
