海楽味 — Restaurant in Miyazu

Beyond my expectations! I’m so glad Google suggested this place to me.

Beware they don’t speak English and the menu is in full Japanese. But it’s totally worth the effort.

The big oysters were amazingly fresh and sweet, the sashimi melted in your mouth. Everything is so fresh and delicious I was legitimately sad that I was too full, I wanted to keep on ordering!

I recommend the sashimi plater of the first photo, that’s what sashimi is supposed to be.

1st floor is souvenir shop. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor. Open until 17:00 on weekdays. Good seafood restaurant for both alone or with few friends. I’m not a fan of crab. But their salt grilled squid, turbo shell, and clam udon taste great. Not sure if they have English menu. But they do have some photos on them. Closed to Amanohashidate Station. One of the famous restaurants around Amanohashidate. The first floor is a souvenir shop, the second is the restaurant. We ordered Sashimi set, grilled fish set, Kaisendon, and fresh oysters (small size). Oysters were quite big for a small size and very sweet. The fish were very fresh and delicious.

The portion is quite large. I think the price is a bit expensive but understandable for...
