ナポリの窯 長野店 — Restaurant in Nagano

I went into the restaurant without any real expectations, but the fondue calzone caught my eye and I decided to chance it.

Extremely happy I did as the pizza was probably the best I've eaten in Japan to date! The dough is light and fluffy, but the base has an authentic stone-baked crisp.

The semi-dried tomato pizza with pesto tasted amazing and if I'm ever in Nagano again in the future I'll revisit for sure!

There was slow tempo Italian music playing through a retro hi-fi system and set a good mood.

My only criticism is that the furniture feels like a hotel breakfast hall (but I'm pretty sure that's because it is during the day). Regardless, the food was very affordable so the decoration didn't bother me.

If you're in Nagano, this little Italian gem is a must! The food is incredible, especially the pizza! Try the gnocchi, it's beautiful, fresh, flavorful, and made with love. ホテルの2階にあるイタリアン「ナポリの窯」さん。🎶 この日は偶然、生演奏イベントが行われていてちょっと特別な雰囲気。 ピザはモチっとした生地にフレッシュトマトがたっぷりで、とても美味しかったです！ 3人でシェアして、ハーフ&ハーフの2枚で4種類の味を楽しめるのも魅力。 カルボナーラも濃厚で大満足でした。

Napoli no Kama in Nagano, located on the 2nd floor of a hotel. 🎶 By chance, there was live music that night, creating a unique dining experience. The pizza had a chewy crust with plenty of fresh tomato – simple yet delicious! We shared two half-and-half pizzas among three people, enjoying four different flavors. The carbonara pasta was rich and creamy, a perfect complement to the meal.
