Brioche Go has a great atmosphere, is Instagrammable, and affordable, but the quality of the coffee and sweets weren't as delicious as I was hoping.
Brioche Go is located in a garden area in Osu. It's about a 7-minute walk from Yabacho Station. You can exit either from the outdoors or from the indoor garden/greenhouse.
Entering the cafe, you notice the retro, 1970s vibe of the cafe with a modern twist in the decor. A lot of love and care has been put into the interior design. The lighting and seating both fit the vibe well. There is also seating in the garden section, which is one of the huge draws of Brioche Go. It is quite stunning to enjoy a cup of coffee and a sweet while sitting amongst plants and flowers.
The menu has some variety, including juice, beer, coffee, tea, and sweets. The prices are exceptionally reasonable compared to many other cafes around Nagoya.
I went with a white mocha during my visit. The cup was cute, and the presentation was decent. The taste of the drink was fairly weak; both the coffee and the syrup used for the flavoring.
This place is extremely popular, so expect there to be a wait for the seating.
The queue was frustrating as there was no discernible system for the register. They definitely need to figure out a better system.
Also, the staff member who took my money was surprisingly short and rude with me. However, the second staff member who handed me my drink was kind and attentive. Maybe the first staff member was having a bad day.
I eventually want to go back and try Brioche Go again. I think it is a beautiful place and affordable for all people of socioeconomic status, but I hope that the quality of their service and drinks...
Read moreI’m very conflicted. On one hand, the food quality, especially the brioche, was high. But the long wait and constantly changing menus make it not worth it. It’s mostly just a cute cafe full of girls trying to take pictures for instagram.
The biggest problem with this place is that they change their menu every few hours. The other problem is that the lines are crazy long. I came for the egg sandos at 2:30 PM. Had to wait in line for more than 30 minutes. By the time I got to the counter to order, they had changed from serving eggs to the tea time menu only serving sweets. Got the caramel toast. Underwhelming.
I went again the next morning at 9AM and it turned out the breakfast menu doesn’t serve egg sandos either!!? Got a sunny side up egg on toast. Fine but not anything special.
The brunch menu is only served starting at 11 o’clock. So I came back a THIRD!! time for brunch. Very pretty but it was disappointing. I had hoped to be rewarded after all my effort. The egg sandos were pretty but had way too much Dijon mustard.
The croque monsieur was probably the best thing I ate there. And the cheese tarte. But it’s not worth an hour long wait.
If you go, get there at 10:45 AM right before they switch to brunch menu so you don’t have to wait in a...

There are some table seats and they also have terrace seating. it looks so opening and roof is tall. You may feel nature coz they are surrounded by a lot of flowers and green. I really enjoyed having a lunch time. I love that and I’ll come to here...
