Dublin Room Cafe is a nice cafe that is about 2 minutes from the Kokusai Center Station. There are two sides: a non-smoking and a smoking side. It is located on a side street adjacent to one of the main streets in Nagoya. It's in between some businesses and apartment buildings, so it can be easy to miss.
On this visit, I went to the smoking side. The inside is dimly lit, creating a moody atmosphere. There are nice murals, artwork, and knickknacks along the walls, creating an almost European vibe. It's fairly quiet, as people are enjoying the cafe by chatting with friends while smoking.
There wasn't a wait for a table, but there were a lot of people at around 17:00. I imagine that the cafe gets even busier as people are getting off of work. Thankfully, there are two sides so there should be enough seating with minimal to no waiting.
After looking over the extensive menu of drinks, sweets, and food, I ordered a Nicaraguan blend coffee. It was delicious. There is a lot of items on the menu to choose from, so you will have plenty of options for repeat visits.
The service was fairly fast despite the cafe being packed. The staff were a little less friendly than I was expecting, but because of how busy the cafe was, it didn't bother me.
All in all, it was a great experience. After seeing this place and it being on my radar for a while, I was happy to go. Check it out when you...

The pasta of the day was "mentaiko and mushroom pasta". The balance between the garlic flavor and the saltiness of mentaiko was wonderful. The handmade cake with coffee and dessert was delicious, as expected of the signature menu.
Since it is completely separated, it was convenient that smokers could enjoy their cigarettes without leaving their seats, and non-smokers didn't mind the smell of cigarettes. (I'm a...

The coffee selection is amazing, having some very good options between natural and washed coffee, among other delicious drinks, from which I've only tried the chai, delicious but prefer the coffee.
The Gateau Chocolat is a must try, it has a super concentrated chocolate flavor and a very pleasant texture. The sweets selection changes...
